Joining the business in its infancy straight after university has allowed me to indulge my passion for wine. Myliko Wines started life specialising in Hungarian wines which meant we were involved in all aspects of getting a bottle of wine on the shelf. Watching the business grow has been exciting allowing us now to work with partner producers from 12 countries.
Having filled many roles over the years, operations are at the core of my daily duties, however this does not preclude me from helping the sales team with key accounts, sourcing new wines, dealing with our partners around the globe or tasting and blending wines!
Paul has been in the drinks business for almost 30 years 20 of which have been involving wine.
At Myliko he is the National Sales Manager responsible for some major accounts in the UK and Ireland and development of sales from our UK depot through a team of five. Regularly attending trade shows Paul is always looking for great quality, value wines to bring to the market.
Despite this time in the wine business Paul is happy when enjoying a foaming pint of real ale particularly when watching sport.
Some people think he has an accent but he doesn’t.
I started in the wine industry with Harveys of Bristol in 1978 and my role since 2008 with Myliko is as the Regional Account Manager West supporting customers from Cheshire to Cornwall
I am the youngest of three brothers born in Hampshire but now residing on the edge of The Cotswolds in Gloucestershire.
Married to my wife Gill and we have one daughter and now a son in law.
Besides my passion for wine I am an avid supporter of Gloucester Rugby Club, a very keen gardener and an enthusiastic but fairly poor golfer
Gary arrived at Myliko directly after graduating as a mature student in September 2002.
Having worked in most of the departments over the past 13years, Gary seems to have finally settled in the Logistics Manager role, despite still having input in various other areas such as stock control and product specifications.
Eve joined Myliko in May 2013 to take on the varied and interesting role of Logistics and Admin Assistant. After working in education, catering, recruitment and data processing she has entered the exciting wine industry.
Eve always gives the highest standards of customer service, efficiency and has a really great work ethic.
In her spare time she likes to get out on her bike, walk the hills and explore the world. She also loves a good rock concert from time-to-time.
Eve’s wine knowledge went as far as red, white and rose when she started at Myliko so working for an international wine importer has given her the opportunity to widen her knowledge and keep learning!
Sarah began her career in the drinks industry with a part-time job at Oddbins to fund her through university where she studied Fashion Journalism in the South East of England. This then became a full-time time job when she moved to the North of the country and her interest and knowledge of wines and spirits developed. She has a particular interest in craft Gin!
She took a break from the industry working in psychiatric care and window dressing before coming to work at Myliko as Events Co-ordinator and Project Technician at the beginning of the year.
When she’s not at busy at work, Sarah spends her time indulging her creative side at vintage and antique markets and undertaking craft projects at home.
